Time for Sundowners

Africa, Landscape

The best sunsets in the world happen in Africa. I’ve seen some spectacular ones at sea too, but there is something very special about an African sunset. Perhaps it’s not so much the landscape nor the sun, but the tradition of Sundowners. Making time to celebrate the close of the day by gathering, usually with a beverage in hand, and watching Mother Nature do her thing. It’s a wonderful custom that deserves to be more widespread.  Location: Little Kulala Camp, Namibia  buy the print
